RDA Replacing insulator

On my CLT v3 I melted the insulator on my center post and I haven't been able to take it off and put the replacement on any suggestions?

Use a wire cutter or dremel to crack or cut the insulator.

i got it off now I have the new insulator on but I can't get the post back in any suggestions?

Most of these posts are press-fit zero tolerance...so if you're doing it with normal hand tools then use force, but do it with care. Sounds hard because it is, this is because the fitment must be snug enough to not allow juice to leak through or the post to spin during tightening.

I usually tap them in with a hammer and the appropriate brass drift or punch.

i got it off now I have the new insulator on but I can't get the post back in any suggestions?

With the 510 screw and post hole screws off, use a pair of channel lock type pliers and squeeze the pin into place. Make sure you put duct tape on the plier jaws to prevent marring the post of 510 connection.
