Hello :)

I am just curious if the TFV12 is worth it.
Currently i am rocking the baby beast. I really enjoy the flavor and vapor but is there more?
Well, since the TFV12 is considered a cloud chaser tank i am afraid that the flavor isn't that good and that the liquid consumption is high and that the coils only last a week :/ Any experience with that?

Any recomendations and tips would be helpful :D

I don't know if it's "worth it." If you're enjoying what you are vaping right now, is there a need to look for more? I haven't used the TFV12, but it is in general true that many "cloud chasing" devices will use a lot of liquid, battery power, and *for me* the taste isn't really improved. Unless you are having trouble with what you're vaping now, it may not be worth the added costs, but you'll have to be the one to decide.

I found the BB/BBB surprisingly good for flavor, and yes, it makes clouds. I do not have the tfv12 as that really is geared towards clouds, and I personally have no desire to burn through juice even faster and vape at 100-140W (or higher), which is what those octocouple kind of coils do.

I am surprised and if I am honest, a little disappointed.

What with Sigelei releasing a 6 x battery '499' mod next year, 140 watts is barely enough for people upgrading from Blu or Greensmoke. :D

Oh, relax. [emoji41]The tfv12 can use the coils of the iJoy Cigapet 12 and they've "rated" up to 350W. That Sigelei will be perfect!

I googled that, trying to verify that you were joking. It was only a typo, "CigPet" which can fire to 400 watts with a 0.11 ohm coil. That's pretty funny.

Seems like it might be easier to just hook up some leads to a car battery. 100 cold vaping amps.

6 battery mod? I have some single battery mods that I feel are big and heavy, seriously, a 6 battery mod is going to be silly big and heavy. Just seems a bit overboard imo...I remember when ego type pens came out and people were like, " it so big", feels nothing like a cigarette, you can't even hold it like a cigarette.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I find that the wattage that works for me is usually a few watts over the lowest watt setting (where i can barely see the vape cloud on the exhale). Lower watt settings lessen the chance of burning the liquid and generates the best flavor.
After I get my Atty (coil and chamber heat up) going for awhile, I will often times turn the mod down or up a watt or so to see if I can taste more flavor. I'm often surprised at how much better tasting the vape can be by adjusting the vape temp/wattage.

Brotherbob makes an interesting point, I am fairly new to vaping.... life was so easy with the v8babystick. all i had to do was press a button.... Now i have the alien there are so many things to mess with I just can't help but play around... and trust me... I have done some serious playing around. TDP is in full force here in the UK so only 2ml tanks (TFv8baby) I have gone through 3... yes 3 octupple coils in a week messing around constantly vaping so i can test various modes and settings then moved on to the Q2 coils. I have found a few things out doing this... first of all while I find a big awesome cloud satisfying. really I do. Its counter productive where flavour is concerned. I find I am getting the best flavour by looking at the wattage range on the SMOK coil and as Bob said sticking within around 5 watts of that. so the Q2 for example. 40 - 80 watt according to SMOK best at 55 - 65 w. I personally find that I get the best hit running at 45w on "normal" mode. but I would just start at the very minimum wattage and work up watt by watt untill you think WOW that was good. With pretty much any SMOK tank/coil you are going to chuck a pretty big cloud any way and the flavour is generally pretty good. I am going to wait until I get the tank extension and start building my own coils before I start with the higher wattage stuff as the guy in my vape store assures me I will get a much more intense flavour with that load out and wont burn a ton of juice as you can use the thicker wire and better quality cotton. hope this helps.

I've settled on the Q2 0.4 ohm coil and found that at 40W, the flavor is surprisingly good, there is cloud but not overwhelming, and I'm not running through juice or battery life as quickly. I played with the others, but came back to the stock Q2 for the balance. In truth, it's been one of the better factory coils I've used flavor wise, and I am otherwise almost all an RTA person.

I'm with @Eskie on the Q2 coil. I also hang around 40w and that really seems to be the sweet spot. A friend of mine with the same rig likes hers a little higher, but she likes 3mg juice and I prefer 6mg or higher.
