Hi ,
I am wondering if anyone knows if when replacing coils on the bottom feed tanks if you are supposed to leave the plastic/rubber piece on or remove it ?
If you are talking about that silicone "cap" on the vent tube of a Kanger coil assembly - leave it on. That's what completes the seal to the mouth piece vent tube and keeps the liquid from just getting sucked straight up the mouth piece.
Just unscrew it old one, take new one and screw it in. New replacement coils should have a new rubber piece on it. At least the ones I buy do. Smok Tech Replacement Bottom Coils
When you become more adept with coils, you can learn to actually replace the coil and cotton inside these "disposable" atomizers. It's not necessarily ideal but it'll give you handyman's satisfaction.
