Thank-you Warrior3995 for making this easily accessible. Long but worthwhile read.
I now have a better understanding of where the regulation may be going.
Don't like the restricted flavouring part but they will have a hard time stopping anyone
from adding any flavour they like. No real biggie there, for anyone with half a clue.

Hard to say where this will all take us but I appreciate very much the time and effort each of our witnesses
have invested for the benefits of improved health for all Canadians and Canadian families. THANK-YOU!

The "standing committee" failed to see the problem of youth being able to purchase cigalikes over the counter for the last 8 years due to the lack of action on the part of our government. It's a good possibility that this data will be used against "the industry" to further demonize and regulate it. When in fact it is the lack of action on the part of our guberment that caused the problem to begin with (if any). Cheers.:vapor:

ack they're totally going to ban indoor use. There goes vape shops/vape louges and we all get to go enjoy second hand smoke

Unless we can convince all vape shops to not comply and just post a sign on the door saying "This is a vape friendly shop and yes we vape inside if you don't like it stay the ...... OUT!" Thank You for Your Cooperation :toast::vapor: What can they do really, it is time we stand up for our rights that they keep telling us we have!!!

Not to mention the "nicotine and non-nicotine e-cigs should be regulated the same because they look similar".
There's already the precedent of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages being regulated differently, why do we apply a different logic here?

As for the gateway effect, it's an unproved allegation. The long experience with non-alcoholic drinks suggests otherwise.

Also the double standard of requiring the vapers to prove the "smoking cessation aid" benefits before being able to mention them; while the "gateway effect", "re-normalisation of tobacco smoking" and "harm to the bystanders" are accepted with not proof whatsoever.

I suggest that either none or all unproven allegations shall be removed from the discussion. Selectively accepting some could be construed as double standards.

ANTZ have no use for logic and science, their weapons of choice are lies and FUD that back what they already "know".
