My thoughts... My thought is that the Vendor bought a silver provari, had it painted black, and instead of owning up to it, he fed you a line of bull. e-liquid will not eat Ceramic... Just plain, and simple. My Black V2.5 has some scratches and looks a bit rough, but that's because I'm rough on it. Just cut out that middle man, talk to Provape, and make sure to let them know what the vendor told you.

ETA: I have dropped my Provari on concrete more times than I want to remember, and it looks brand new compared to what you have.
