I thought perhaps a thread where members could post flavors or flavor combinations that yield relatively clear juices after steeping (letting the juice sit a day or more) would come in useful, particular for those with PVs like the eGo-T which are particularly sensitive to dark juices (see below).

From my experience, TPA strawberry remains crystal clear several days after mixing (in 65/35, PG/VG with 10 mg/ml nic), yet a mixture containing TPA bavarian cream and TPA milk chocolate (same base/nic) turns brown after steeping.

Which flavors (or flavor combinations) have you found remain relatively clear after steeping of your juice?

thick dark juices will require way more cleaning and wick replacements regardless of the PG/VG mix. Try to find juices with nearly clear flavorings. Any darkness to the liquid is stuff that won't vape out, it just gums up your vaporizer.

The dark juices should be avoided if at all possible. They really do seem to caramelize on the wick and coil faster. I tried a cinnamon roll flavor once and within a few minutes, the PV was barely working. really had to clean it out well (see above) to get it working again.

Just don't use to much dark juice since that'll clog up the atty pretty damn fast.

i get 1-2 weeks out of a atty before i rinse with hot water, dry, and then do a couple quick dry burns, this will vary due to types of juices used(dark, sweet, etc)

It might be important to note however, that I do not vape dark juices. It's a personal taste preference. I've found, that for me, that dark juice almost universally tastes "stifling". It is a taste preference and not a value judgement. Also, there is anecdotal evidence that some dark juices leave a caramelized coating on the atomizer.

TPA Honeysuckle
TPA Absinthe
Gosh there are so many to list :( Basically if the flavoring is clear like water or very close it wont darken at all or much. Avoid juices that have a yellow hue to them or darker, if you are trying to stay away from darker colors.

Honestly for me tho, i've found the only time dark juices really gunked up my gear was flavorings that had artificial dyes, or juices that were an extremely dark brown.
