I know some people have a hard time with the glass bottles so I've been considering ways to make them easier to deal with. I think I will be switching the bottles to a simple screw cap instead of the glass dropper. This will make it easier for people who refill with syringes (I'll be carrying these on the website as soon as I get back). I also have a few customers who have allergies to the rubber in the dropper which made me concerned that there might be some leaching from the dropper over time so I feel this will be a cleaner approach. I'll sell empty bottles with droppers for anyone who wants them (I get a lot of requests for empty bottles as is, so this will make it easier for people to find) and maybe offer a variety of plastic bottles with different dispensing methods so everyone can pick what they like best (including child proof options which are not readily available for the glass bottles). Does anyone have any requests, ideas that might work better, or suggestions? I'd love to hear any feedback that can help me improve the glass bottle system for everyone.

For those of us filling with a syringe, a plain screw-top really does make more sense. For the rest, I'd imagine that the droppers are great! The rubber thing certainly could be a concern for some folks, and it is possible that spillage would decrease without the leverage of the dropper tip to help it along. I like your plan!

Hey Annette,
I have been loving your juice - and especially loving the glass bottles with the droppers. I use the 5 mL Ego Mega Dual Coil cartos... and those dropper bottles make it so much easier to shove juice down into those things. I hope that whatever you choose to do that those bottles remain an option. Either way I will remain a loyal customer!

Many thanks,
Jay

I love the glass bottles.... for me the screw top or droppers would work...just don't think I'd go back to plastic bottle (except maybe for travel). I have been saving a few bottles of each size..and if you offer empty ones on the site as always you should please us all. I hope you are resting well as I believe you will be locked in your kitchen for many hours upon your return:)

I'm all for the screw tops. Will you offer droppers on your site as well? I ask because I drip fill cartos but don't like the idea of droppers sitting in the bottles for long period of time (it never lasts very long here anyways but I steep everything for a month).

YAAAAY! Another one-month steeper!!! :w00t:

Sorry, we now return you to your original programming . . .

Thank you everyone for giving me your feedback! It sounds like the screw cap plan will work, so I'll go ahead and start making the transition. I'll definitely offer bottles, droppers, plastic bottles (I'll include the blunt tip syringe tops, Spaceballsrules!) and some child proof plastic bottles as well to suit everyone as needed. I'll keep you posted as I make the transition! Thank you again for all the replies!

I love the look and 'idea' of the glass bottles, but I'm not as graceful as I'd like to be.

After knocking over the little glass bottles too many times, I've gotten a bit skittish just opening them. And, transporting one with me when I go out has been a problem too, with the glass. I don't need child-proof, but I definitely need spill-proof/ break-proof!

Thank you for giving us a choice of what kind of bottle we prefer with each order. Very cool!

~ Any chance you'll start offering LARGER bottles soon? Like kittiepie suggested, liter size should do it! :)
