Thank you everyone for giving me your feedback! It sounds like the screw cap plan will work, so I'll go ahead and start making the transition. I'll definitely offer bottles, droppers, plastic bottles (I'll include the blunt tip syringe tops, Spaceballsrules!) and some child proof plastic bottles as well to suit everyone as needed. I'll keep you posted as I make the transition! Thank you again for all the replies!

BTW What's up with all the cat lovers in this thread? A couple of dog lovers as well, and even a pig enthusiast.

I'm one of the clumsy ones who spilled 3 out of 6 of my sample bottles. Tried to use a syringe to suck it up from my desk, but the one I absolutely drooled over (Kona Velvet) spilled on a paper towel so I couldn't even salvage any of it. Oh the horror!!!

Today I found some little metal (look like stainless steel) condiment cups at Wally World for 88 cents. 4 in the package. They will be perfect for putting small sample bottles in to keep them from spilling.

So now I'm prepared no matter what you decide to do about the sample bottles. Just keep the Konas coming and I'll be happy! :)

I'm rather fond of the status quo glass bottle/eye dropper. The Vision Extremes I use fill nicely with the eye droppers.
Ah ha! It was you who recommended the Visions to me! I know a few people mentioned them but I couldn't remember who. I just got them in and you are right, they ROCK! Thank you thank you!

I'm still figuring out exactly what to do, but I think I am going to switch to the screw cap closure but still offer empty bottles and just droppers separately as well as a range of plastic bottles for those who prefer them. I ordered a variety of new bottle options to try so I'll keep you posted!

You are quite welcome! Yes, the 2 mid sizes rock, stay away from the smallest ones (the 1.3 ml "micro" size). They had a pretty poor "leak at the bottom" ratio for me, I think I only had 2 out of 5 that didn't leak, plus the wicks couldn't keep up with my vaping style.

And welcome back! I know you've got tons of work ahead of you.

I would love to have a screw cap lid on the glass bottles. The current glass droppers are cool but all of mine leak like crazy, I can't even tell where it leaks from, but find juice on the squeezer, the screw cap, the bottle. It's messy!

The suggestion to include a separate glass dropper would be a great option, if do-able. I love my little glass bottles so I keep the empties which means I do have a few used droppers on hand, I don't know how sanitary it is to re-use them though.

Welcome back from your holiday! I will try to be kind and give you the weekend to catch up before I re-order my Expresso!!

Update on the condiment cups from Wally World. They work great!!! Just the right size for the little sample bottles and when they tip over in it, they don't spill and are at just the right angle for getting the dropper in.

I will never again lose half a bottle of Annette's precious yummies. :)

Here's what they look like. I paid 88 cents for the 4 pack. The others are handy for holding drip tips. Can't get much more frugal than that.

I'm definitely switching over to the screw caps because I hear back from customers that the droppers do seem to occasionally leak in transit. The screw caps also make it easier to mix the e-liquid making sure flavor and nicotine is more evenly distributed. I'm getting some larger plastic bottles in soon too and am looking at a variety of other options to carry on the website as well.

OK, thought I'd bring this back up again. So, I've made the switch to the screw cap closure. I used to get many e-mails about dropper bottles leaking during shipment, but now I get e-mails from customers who have no means to dispense the e-liquid! The easy solution would be to ship the droppers separately, since then everyone could choose to use or not use the droppers once they arrive safe and sound, but I fear this is a recipe for disaster given the lack of finesse the USPS is known to have with the mail. I just thought I'd check in to see how the new bottles are working for everyone and if anyone has a suggestion for how to best solve this problem. Any feedback or ideas are appreciated!

Annette.... on my vacation I took three bottles of my fav juice with screw caps...and three droppers I had from previous orders..then three empty Vision Cartomizers. I had no problems with any leaking from the screw caps on airline travel. On the way home...I just didn't want to use my crappy prefilled cartos (from elsewhere) so filled my Visions and thank goodness I had them in ziplock bags...they all leaked in airline travel. I think the screw cap is best for shipment or airline travel...but the ability to purchase droppers if needed would be nice. I have saved all previous bottles and droppers...but for new customers..trying to send droppers might be nice??
