Guys, (mates?...hehe)

You are all so very nice, doing a great job, and have the best reputation for providing the best service, with a high end customers support.

The problem is that none of you takes international credit cards as a method of payment. Which makes people (like me) who can't have a PayPal account, a little bit excluded from the possibility of being a customer.

I have friends in the State and Europe whom I sometimes need to send a gift to. But I can't. I can't even purchase anything, not even to myself.

Which makes me always nagging at Imeo and bothering him, by trying to find a way to purchase from him directly.

But in all cases, I find myself obliged to buy different other products from other websites instead of yours, just because I don't have much choice.

So my humble request to you all: Would it be possible for you to get merchant accounts that take international credit cards as a method of payment or is it at this stage, too much of a financial burden for you?

Also, how about alternative payments like Western Union?

Ok...hehe

Because the buyer sends you a number, once he paid at the WU office. You take this number and go to the nearest WU union office and you instantly get paid. You, the seller, will get all the payment in cash, directly, immediately and without any charge. All charges would have been paid upfront by the buyer.

Chances are you can find a WU office or desk not farther than a mile from your location wherever you are...on Earth.

See from yourself: Western Union - Send Money - Money Transfer - Transfer Money Online - Find Location

There you go, available where I drop off my parcels, the post office :)

Just hear bad stories, why?

In here? Error Page

No bad stories possible, simply because you don't have to send anything before cashing the payment. Any imaginary problem is between the buyer and his own office. You're not concerned as a seller.

0% Hope. With Western Union, all fees are paid by the buyer, while sending the payment. That's the sacrifice that a buyer must make.

But they charge him cheaper than a bank charges for money transfer, noting that some banks, on the receiver side, also charge the receiver, even if the sender already payed all the charges.

If you do that -- make sure one of the boxes on the form (not sure which) says that "ALL FEES HAVE BEEN PAID UPFRONT", because some WU reciving tellers will attempt to take fees out of the total before giving the money out. This has happened to me in the USA, and my aunt in Germany.

So... I can go to collect, make sure correct and sent after... What protection does the buyer have then?

Yes of course.

In Lebanon, the process is automatic and I think that you don't even have the option to keep those fees on account of the receiver to pay, so to minimize problems and misunderstandings.

Good question.

The party at risk and the one who pays fees for the transaction is usually the seller.

With Western Union, the buyer takes all the risks. Now whether he needs to pay all the fees for the transaction or just part of them or none, or at least get redeem points eventually, is up to the seller to specify.

Think I'll still take it on a case by case basis. I'm always open to discussion though and alternative means via email etc.

Keep in mind that while Bank transfer takes days, and credit cards payments get settled and transferred to the seller on specified terms, after he pays fees for transactions, Western Union is an instant transfer of all the sum without any fees to pay.

Like if I go to a WU office just right now, and send you money, I can mail you the number, and if you're standing in your post office at the WU desk, you get paid fully and immediately.
