A moment of silence please.

My poor old school pink stardust died today – she cracked right off below the metal collar. And it was all my fault – my first lemonade DIY effort was much too strong for her. I should have known.

Now if I was Briar, I would have given her a name and talked to her. But I didn’t. I just expected her to keep on working, with just an occasional clean and dry burn.

And she was only 3 months old. I bought her and 11 of her brethren in mid April, and have been using them ever since. I still have 5 unopened in the draw, and another 6 in rotation. Not sure about the other one – probably in the car as this is the first one I remember dying on me.

Do you think I’m getting my money’s worth out of these things?

If the ones in the drawer are unopened, then it's only 6 or 7 that have been used for 12 weeks. Sounds pretty good to me :)

Exactly. And the other 5 or 6 are still going strong.

I'm sorry, I should say when I'm being sarcastic. I think these are the biggest bargains out there.

I told myself I was not gonna try the new style stardust until this stock goes down, but I'm not sure how much longer I can wait. :)
