Unfortunately I can't get on the innovapor website right now from work so I figured I would post this here.
I don't know exactly what happened. I came back from vacation yesterday and my new ry4 liquid had arrived...so I pulled out my res and cleaned it . Rinsed it under room temp water.. then used a paper towel to blot it dry... then left it out of the res unit over night to dry.
When I woke up this morning i went to reassemble the res unit and felt a grinding? Feeling. I looked down and the ceramic had cracked/crumbled.
Is this a defect? Or is it something I did wrong? My house carries a lot of humidity at times...could this be a possible reason? or the humidity in my area?
I was loving my ultramax and if its user error on my part I need to know so I can prevent it happening if I order a replacement RES... But if its due to humidity I dont want to keep replacing it.
Has anyone ever experienced this?
I've had my unit about 2 weeks
