Has anyone noticed a strong residual smell from the exhaled PG vapor?

This question is more for the folks who vape in enclosed places, such as a bathroom with no vent fan, car with windows rolled up, etc. Are you experiencing a long term, lingering odor from the vapor?

I've noticed a strange smell in a couple of places that wasn't there prior to my use of e-cigs. I don't know how else to describe it other than an "industrial" smell similar to oil, paint fumes, etc. I don't think it is my sense of smell returning, but figured I'd ask the fine members of this forum for their observations.

Thanks,
Jeff

I have been smoking at my desk for a month now and the only time I noticed (and other people) a smell was with one flavor of liquid. It was not a bad smell (some people liked it), but it was noticeable. I can smell some high nicotine juices if they leaked, it is like that smell of a nicotine patch when it is first opened, but, when vaped, no smell.

When I been vaping indoors the folks around me say the room has an aroma like the juice I am using. When I'm traveling and staying in hotels, I vape sweet flavored juices in the room since tobacco flavored juices leave a lingering aroma which might get mistaken as analogs. I don't need a hassle with management over an analog room cleaning charge.

I haven't noticed any lingering aroma from any tobacco flavored juice I've tried (though I'll admit I've only tried two!)

The nasty flavor that came in the cartridges with my dura-c DID have a slight "berry" smell, but it didn't linger. It left my fingers smelling like berries -- but only because I got a bit of juice on them.

I have noticed that VG seems to carry the aroma more so than PG and I would have to say that the tobacco flavors, I haven't really sensed, but the "flavors" I do. Now, can I say for certain that the smell is in the room and not actually in my nose, I do not know... as I do notice that some flavors use the senses of taste and smell, while others seem to only activate the tastebuds.

Next time you vape, take a moment to see if your sense of smell is being activated (that short little span where it the vapor is hanging in your upper throat/back of your nostril cavity). If you can get your hands on a flavor, try that in comparison.

Some of the "flavors" are quite aromatic.

For those who are menthol smokers, I feel the VG is a way better carrier for that cooling mint sensation. (Wasn't a menthol smoker... but menthol and coffee in the morning is alright by me) :)
