Residue inside vehicle and or house / office?

I just began to vape and am really enjoying vaping indoors, in my vehicle and on the can. I know I know. I used to smoke analogs for way to many years and quite smoking indoors because it smelled and the walls and everything else turned yellow. Does this happen with vaping? I have a Halo G6 and their juices and some of them vape huge clouds of vape that I fan away, but I am just curious.

To my knowledge (albeit a layman's knowledge) there have been a few studies done as to what is in "2nd hand vape" (ugh I hate to even type that!), and aside from a small bit of glycerides from teh VG content, there is really nothing else there. So, you shouldn't see any thing in the way of a "yellowish scum".

Hope that helps, and cograts and welcome to a whole new lifestyle!

That's good to know. One of the things that motivated me to quit smoking was that I bought a new car earlier this year, the nicest car I've owned so far. When I saw it starting to become ashy, dirty and smelly like every other vehicle I've owned, I gave it a good cleaning and started using an e-cig exclusively when driving. That was my gateway into full-time vaping.

I would think scented candles produce much more in the way of gunk than normal e-cig use.

So would pan frying anything on the stove.

You home's HVAC system and car's A/C system would probably remove almost all of any residues left in the air. Even on a humid day with no wind, the mist from your exhale is only visible for a few seconds.

I quit smoking in my vehicles and house about ten years before I quit smoking. The major realization that sparked the change was when I went to prep my first house for sale. When we went to touch up some rooms and repaint others, It was impossible not to notice the severe color differences.... and that the white ceiling was no longer even close to white. It was awful and we didn't even smoke inside that much. I've been vaping for over a year and I have no problem with vaping inside. I vape in the house and car all the time and haven't even gotten a slightest bit of residue or haze anywhere and nothing stinks. Vaping is much friendlier to your environment... and your body. Even the yellowish tar stains on your teeth and fingers disappear within a month of switching over.

I only noticed a film on my windshield while vaping 100% VG. My PG/VG blends don't seem to leave it. But the good news is it cleans off a lot easier than cigarette smoke film. No streaking.

Just wiped down my computer monitor for ....s and giggles, and no film whatsoever.
That's after about 3 months of blowing 50/50 at it.

I suspected that there would be some kind of film or residue. Before I was vaping, when I smoked at home, I did it outside. When I smoked in my car, I left the windows down and never used my ashtray. Nothing really got too bad. Now with the vaping, I'm... doing the exact same thing. I like to go outside for a smoke anyway, so why change? This way, I KNOW it won't be a problem.

Thank you so much for your much obliged responses. I quit smoking quite often due to the fact I was smoking stealth and outside only. Though quitting those last few per day led me to vaping. Though because of the tasty taste of the vape and watching the exhale has helped me quit analogs without looking back quite quickly.

Blow vape clouds into a cup and see what stays there after 24 hours and that will be your answer.
