Silly question I know...but when i smoked analogs i always went outside. Will vaping indoors make a nicotine film in the house like real cigarettes do? Hubby and I are scratching our heads on this one
Actually, vaping does leave a film. I vape in my house but don't notice it. But in my car, I can tell when it builds up on my windshield. It is just the vg. It will not build up on anything porous like fabric or leather, but it will on solid surfaces.

Yes it does. I noticed it on my windows by my computer last winter. And I clean my monitor more often since I vape here. I don't think it goes as far, but it definitely leaves a film. I use mostly vg btw. Not sure if it is the same for pg.
edit: not sure if it is Nicotine. just re:read the original question. not sure what the contents of the film is, just that there is one.
The only film I have ever noticed is a clear film on windows, quite similar to condensation. Not the disgusting yellow film that cigarettes leave behind on the walls, windows, and appliances...
I vape high VG liquids while sitting at my computer for hours every day. I haven't noticed anything. Certainly doesn't seem to be a problem that would require me to vape outdoors.
*ETA*
I tried the mirror trick. It left a lot of condensation, but a few minutes later the patch I had been blowing vapor onto was just as clean and clear as the rest of the mirror. If it does leave a film, it must take a while.
