Many of the newer climate control systems in cars that use the environmentally friendly technology cause windshields to film up, it cleans off easily, and is supposedly not harmful. This could be the culprit with some people seeing a film build up on their windshield. If this build up takes place on the back window then that would most likely be due to vapor.

Nothing to report here except spilling a bottle of high-VG juice into a $80 mechanical keyboard, it worked for another three months after a cleaning but finally gave up the ghost. My PC sits right on my desk and I routinely blow clouds into the front intake fan and haven't had any problems from doing so, same with the smoke screens I blow at my monitors..no build-up, nada. And it's a natural air freshener too!

What do you drive?? I'm in a 67 Bonneville and yeah, very little air exchange technology...

1997 VW Golf Jazz edition. It is mint. I was actually incorrect. It was $1.21 on my first fill-up. When I started driving, it was $.87/gal. I'm .... about keeping a record for every time I have ever bought gas.
