In pen turning we call these worthless wood blanks. Do a search and there is some crazy wood and resin combos.
Luckily we are dealing with the making of REOs and not pen turning.

I do have one thing about these new resin Woodvils that will probably be a little bummer for me, That is I will more than likely have to settle for which one that has a plunger rather than one I like.
See if you can get Robert to make you a neutral or clear plunger door, then the body color won't matter Just a thought...
