I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for why my resistance is jumping from like, .28 to sometimes, .44 then go to hit it and bam big difference. I'm running my ipv4s with my Harakles plus tank 316 ss replacement coil and it did it once before with the same kind of coil my batteries are barely under half way,and it also gave me a check battery when they were at half on the battery bar. I'm thinking of just swapping out and putting some fresh batteries in and see if that works.any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

It's normal for the resistance of stainless steel coils to climb, when you fire the coil. That's why stainless steel works in TC mode. The board in the mod calculates the change in resistance.
I use 316L coils in my mechanicals. If I build the coil to .3 ohms 'cold' resistance, it will climb to .4 ohms or more when I fire it. As the coil cools back down, the resistance will slowly drop back to the original .3 ohms.

Check the screws on an RDA of RTA make sure there is proper contact.

If your using a coil head it may nif be making proper contact.

That is not exactly correct. Yes the resistance does rise as you fire it, but the chip should immediately revert back to the "base" resistance when you let go of the button.

His problem sounds more like his base is changing after firing it, which is a not normal. cte72, it sounds like a bad connection. Typically this is caused by a weak connection at the coil leads, maybe a snapped lead or possibly a short if you are using contact coils. If not there then less likely places are your 510 connection or a spotty connection between the 510 and deck.

Thanks. All my other tanks or coils are pretty spot on. It's just doing it with this new ss replacement coil I put in. It's a harakles plus tank and a ipv4s mod. And sometimes its ok other times it will jump all the way up to, .7ohms and it does this when I fire it and I think it's either a 2 or 4 ohm coil. Could it be a bad coil

Could be. I have never used pre-built coils for TC, but as temperamental as TC can be, I can imagine factory coils will have bad ones. Whether you build your own or use factory coils, the base resistance changing is not normal.
