resistance/ohms totals

Now that i have figured out that one of my rda's is setup too low in ohms value causing too much amps to be pulled from my battery and im vaping unsately got me thinking.

Wouldnt you want to measure the total resistance of you mod, addy and coil to come up with a more accurate amps reading? Im not trying to split hair here but this seems like the most accurate way of doing this.

A clean mod doesn't have a whole lot of resistance. I also do not want to push a battery so hard that I have to add that little bit of resistance in to make it "safe"

+1 on what p7willm said.

You need to allow for headroom to be safe. Everyone is different in the amount of headroom they want. I use 30% so with a 30A battery I would use 21A in my calculations and wouldn't build below 0.2 ohms.

Though to be honest, I don't build below 0.4. Don't feel the need to go any lower as I'm more in this for flavor, not vapor.

Good to know that a mod and addy doesnt have much resistance. I didnt test this it just came to mind. Also a 10% safty zone also sounds like a good idea. If i get h9me this week ill take this into concideration when rebuilding my addy at home.
