Even though I've been registered with this forum for some time. Up until very recently I have done little more than dip my toes in the depths of vaping and continued smoking. Last week thanks to a short paycheck and overdue bills my wife, brother, and I (my brother and his daughter moved in with my wife and I post divorce) were beyond broke and unable to afford our cancer sticks. I had to Blu cigalikes sitting around that we used to get through a long miserable week.

Friday, I picked up two V2 ex eliquid kits from the gas station and my brother got a base model eGo. I grabbed some Puff brand 2.4% tobacco eliquid and all three of us made the (almost) full switch from smoking to vaping. My wife and I have both had a total 5 analogs since Friday evening, my brother hasn't done quite as well. I did stop by AltSmoke and pick up some "Daybreak" flavor NicQuid juice (24 as I'm just coming off analogs and don't want to commit murder) which I am enjoying.

I think this time around we'll be able to make the transition fully over to vaping.

Better equipment is planned for in the very near future but a coworker was going to donate some old equipment of his so we're waiting for after that.

Good for all of you! Keep trying juice until you find what works for you, when you can. I'm vaping cheap unflavored at 24 mg Nic but also have some flavorings to add if I want. Also some expensive NET tobaccos that I hit now and then each day :)

I may yet talk them into that. Right now, I cleared my tank of the Daybreak and switched to an Apricot Tobacco juice from "Vitamin Smoke" (seriously, I have no idea where he found this stuff) for a change up. The local AltSmoke is on my way home from work so I may pick up some more flavors Friday after I get paid.

They also have a mod (I think he called it "the invader") that looks like Darth Vader's lightsaber, I would like to save up for. (Huge Star Wars geek.)

The mod I would love: http://www.heatvape.com/device/1-invader-mini.html

Anybody who has an opinion on that I would be quite interested.

Good luck my friend I wish I were nearby.
In my country there is a saying "Every misfortune carries a seed of fortune" Yours was the best reason to convert to vaping. Not only saving the money spent on coffin nails but the money which will be spent for health.
And most important part of vaping you have all found the liquids apropriate for you The device is not that important we old timers used primitive devices still quit smoking. Go ahead we are here to answer all the questions.
I wish you a very quick recovery.

Thanks for all the well wishes. The last of the analogs was given away by my wife yesterday so we're now a tobacco free house.

The current setup:

Okay, so quick note on kit. My brother kept complaing about his batteries going dead with his Kanger EVOD tanks, so I traded him my 650 mah battery of unknown provenance for his Kanger EVOD and eGo C-E5+ batteries that seem to work just fine with my T3'D and Mini Protank.

Anybody have an idea why this might be?
