Last weekend I converted my mother in law and brother in law (both lifelong smokers) to vaping, and in the past several weeks have brought some coworkers into the fold, too. I've only been vaping since January, but plan to try to convert every single person I know that smokes.

What are your conversion success stories?

My wife was 1.5 PAD smoker as was I... she was just way more stubborn about leaving them behind so I kept falling off the wagon (I started vaping four years ago!) A couple of weeks ago I went after more equipment and juices, since a brick and mortar store had finally opened up in my area and she fell in love with vaping too. She's five days without a cigarette and I think she's completely converted now. :)

Anyway she's already gotten three of her co-workers to at least try vaping as alternative. Four of my friends jumped on vaping shortly after I started again, two are complete converts, the other two are still struggling. I have three more in the last week that have shown strong interest and say they are going to buy one very soon. So that's 10 in a little over two weeks?

It does start to look a bit like a pyramid scheme. HEY! Maybe that's the ticket! Get into multi-level marketing of top shelf juice and gear! (j/king) ;)

None so far. I've only been at it for a month but my dad has been very curious. He likes to try my new flavors.
I would be very happy if he switched over. He is 65 and smoking since a teen. I don't push it though. I really believe its a decision you just have to make on your own. He knows about, he knows it's working for me. I just hope he knows it needs to be a choice he needs to make.

In the one month that I'm vaping I could introduce two of my friends into it. They both purchased identical gears as mine; and r happy vapers indeed.

Ironically, the closest pal of mine refuses... the other two tried reasoning with him too, but he just doesn't budge. He had lot of queries, which we did resolve, he tried my kit... said it was nice... but whenever the time comes for him to get one -- he goes AWOL. I really don't understand what's going wrong.

Probably about 8 people at work. But it wasn't all me, my buddy and I started going to the smokepit with our e-cigs and everyone just started asking where we got them. We really didn't even have to try, everyone has gone out to our local B&M on their own to get their starter kits really. I should get kickbacks from the B&M lol.

He's probably just not ready. But at least he has you and your buddies around to constantly remind him (just by vaping in front of him) how good it feels to quit!

I would put the number of my conversions to around 15. And some of them brought vaping to their friends / family, so the circle continues.

Last night at the casino, I had about a dozen people approach me and ask me about e-cigs. I handed out biz cards that my suppliers send when they send me supplies. Why not pass along a card for reputable suppliers who have served me well? I also give them one of my biz cards and tell them to call or email if I can be of further assistance. Over the years, I have had several strangers contact me with their
questions.

Will any of them act on the info / contact the suppliers on the cards? I don't know. But I keep getting the info out there to anyone who wants it. I
Happy Vaping,
Paula

PS - one of my pet peeves is suppliers that Do NoT send biz cards when they send my order. I am amazed at how my suppliers fail to tuck in a couple biz cards.

I am not a smoker and never have been. I went with a coworker to Pink Spot here in Vegas last January. He wanted to quick smoking so I agreed to provide the transportation. We each ended up buying an ego c-twist starter kit as well as some juices. I was hooked on the taste. I read that vaping is not for non-smokers but decided that I could do what I wanted. So I did a lot of reading and went on a mission...get as many friends to stop smoking as I could.

So, my numbers are as follows:

In my Scion car group: 8 have purchased e-cigs and 3 are still on the fence due to financial restrictions. E-cigs may cost a lot in the beginning depending on the one you get but in the long-run are less than analog cigs. I don't understand their reasoning but it is their $ and life not mine.

At my job: 9 have purchased e-cigs and are all doing very well.
