I've been using 1.8 ohm Vision Nano clearomizers in my Gripper, but at $3.99 each I wanted a cheaper option. So I ordered some 1.7 ohm XL Resurrector cartomizers and they are great! They produce a bit more vapor but the flavor is much better. The flavors just seem so much brighter and in your face.
Take this with a grain of salt because my experience with cartos is very limited, but if you are having problems with muted flavors you may want to give the Resurrectors a try.
