what does the bottom number mean? Low blood pressure? I have experienced lightheadedness everytime I stand up since I've started vaping..and that happens even if I haven't vaped for over 12 hrs...
The bottom number is the diastolic. It measures blood pressure in between heart beats (when your heart is at rest). If it goes below 60 the blood won't oxygenate cells properly. Lightheadedness is more likely with hypertension. Nicotine tends to raise both diastolic and systolic pressure, as well as heart rate.

But we still don't how all the effects of the assorted things we vape. Some people get lightheaded just during the adjustment period (I did), and after 6 weeks the one effect I still have now is a bit of tinnitus. Even though nicotines raises BP, I think I remember seeing a post by someone who found his BP dropped when he vaped.

Since I've started vaping, I 've been retaining water. I wake up with puffy hands and feet, my face is puffy. I also find I've been sneezing quite a bit. Anyone else have anything like this? I'm wondering if it's a PG thing.

Just to note: this NEVER happens to me, ever, at any other time. I expected some side effects from droppping analogs (I still smoke a few, 5-6/day) and/or from inhaling a new substance, but didn't really get any except this weird puffiness (and dry skin).

just yesterday and the day before - i had swollen feet and ankles and it lasted two days - the first day i just ignored it and then yesterday i looked and it seemed worse - i went to bed with a big couch cushion under my feet last night and this morning it looks close to back to normal

i am 51 years old and have never had this problem before - i have had times of slightly puffy hands but nothing unusual just the times when my wedding ring was tighter etc -

hey wait a minute - i just thought of something - it could be the flavoring

about 3 days ago - i accidentally used the wrong eye dropper to remove excess juice from a cart after topping it off - the dropper i used was one that goes to a bottle of oregano oil

i don't use the oregano oil for vaping - it is good for other stuff like putting on a tooth to help sooth a toothache - it is super strong stuff though and one drop in your mouth will light it on fire

anyway - just that little tiny touch of oil put a taste in the ecig and i just ignored it thinking - i can put that stuff in my mouth so why should a teeny tiny bit be any trouble

well just maybe that oregano oil is what caused my feet to swell ? does not make sense to me - just seems circumstantial - i have used that oil on a tooth and put drops in my mouth and swollowed it for years

i just now went and washed out the atomizer and the cart - now no more oil in there - i guess i could try it again and see if it makes my feet swell up - but i am too chicken

Edlogic, this isn't the first post where we have had similar symptoms and both seem to be leaning toward flavorings. I have cut the flavorings and am back on 9mg unflavored.
I still think it may be the amount of time I sit at the computer, because I traded my cigarette addiction for my addiction to this website. But now, approaching 4 months I think I am breaking free! As much as I would like to say "I cut this" or " I cut that" I am doing everything I can to alleveate these symptoms. So I probably will never know if it was changing my liquid or cutting back on vaping or running 2 miles a day. I don't even care if I can get back to "normal" without smoking!
VG was really bad, scummy feeling in my mouth and sinuses.
The swelling/edema started 10 days in and I went to the Dr, had a stress test, everything looked great. Got better, and then worse again.
I've had the "pressure in my ears" that has evolved to some strange tinnitus, different than what I already had, like a rumbling and my pulse in my left ear. Enough to become painful and a bit scary.

It seems that some people have no problems at all and then there are groups that have specific symptoms. Whatever happens now is PG and Nicotine. I have contemplated increasing the nicotine and trying to reduce the amount of vaping(PG)... not sure how sucessful I would be at that...

i have started using my iolite instead of vaping - i only vape a few times a day now and about 4 or 5 times a day i put a pinch of already used tobacco into the iolite and vape it - you get a feeling more like you smoked an analog when you vape tobacco - i saved my old pieces of left over analogs and got the iolite as a backup - i did not start using it until a few days ago when i kept having trouble with vaping and panic attacks
now i am starting to like the iolite better than ecigs - but of course the problem is that you get more bad stuff from vaping tobacco but it still is a lot better than smoking - here is a post of my comment in a thread about the iolite

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/video-reviews/30147-iolite-i-inhale-9.html#post475570

there are cheaper vaporizers for tobacco - maybe you miight give one a try if you continue to have trouble with ecigs - if you look around that thread you can see more of my posts and other people's ideas about the iolite and vaping tobacco

to me it feels just like i smoked an analog but no smoke - just a little bit of vapor and strong tobacco taste ( because they have already been smoked - i only have left over butts of tobacco ) - one day i guess i will go buy some more fresh tobacco and try it
