I own 3 RDAs, but recently found it necessary to retire two of them, due to technical difficulties. (One was fiendishly difficult to build on, and the other one's 510 pin became recessed into the connector, and there was no way to re-extend it.)

Does anyone have a recommendation for an rda that won't break the bank?

I would like one that has the option of building both a single coil or a dual coil build, as I don't always feel like draining my battery in just a few hits, or breathing an actual stream of e-liquid on each hit.

The only rda I have left, that seems to fill this bill, is my Mutation X v2 clone.

By the way, I'm totally open to a quality clone...brand loyalty left me decades ago.

My 2 faves are my CLT2+ and my new Tobeco Velocity clone. Both have big air and deep wells. The CLT is an authentic (made by Infinite) and cost less than $30. I picked up the Velocity clone on a BF sale for $12, but they are easy to find for $15. Both have lots of room for big builds, but the Velocity is more versatile. The post design allows for easy builds in any configuration and has more/better airflow control.

If you want to fix the one with the recessed pin, it's likely the insulator that holds the positive block/screw. If you can get measurements for it, they are available from several online vendors.

you can get a Yuude Igo-L or Igo-W for less than 10 bucks. both get high ratings. the Igo-W is exactly 22mm in circumference, so it looks great on any (99%) mod. They aren't clones, but they are made cheaply. both can be purchased for around 10usd. :)

a personal favorite of mine is the A7 atty. it can be bottom-fed, which makes it a great fit for my reo grand bottom feeder mod. u can do dual coil, but it only has 2 posts. the air travels up a tube, through the middle of the juice well, and beams a air directly under the coil, which makes the a7 1 of the BEST attys for airflow ever, in my opinion. if you like throat hit, & you'd rather mouth-to-lung inhale, than direct-lung, the a7 is great.

the tohb is a very simple, but very nice looking atty. it's got 3 posts for all-kinds of builds. it's 22mm, so it looks great on most mods and flush on 22mm tube mods. I personally love mine, and can highly recommend it. gr8 to learn with & enjoy 4-ever.

The Youde IGO w6 is one of the best quad coil RDAs ever built.
Fantastic atty. High quality construction and materials. $25 and worth every cent.

The one with the pushed-in pin was a Tugboat clone that I bought about 6 months ago for $10. It doesn't ow me a dime, and I actually prefer the Mutation clone...but thanks.

Lots of great suggestions, folks...thanks! I'm checking them all out now.

More specifically, I sort of border on being a cloud chaser, so anything that doesn't have generous airflow is a non-starter for me. I'm also not a big fan of bottom airflow, or non-adjustable airflow.

Additionally, I'm not allergic to spending a bit of money on a good RDA, but something in the $100 region seems excessive, unless it vapes itself and satisfies me from across the room.

Alliance V2....
Alliance was just too airy (for me) but they fixed that with the V2.
Single or double coil build capable with the addition of the changeable airflow ring.
3 different barrels to choose from ( one mutation like ) and deep juice well.

All the bells and whistles and extra parts for 50$.

Something else to look at...:p
