Hey everybody
I am starting my voyage towards Vapeing (sp?). I have not yet purchased my first pv however I am researching and trying to influence the wife to join me. The is a place in Wauwatosa that ships eGos. Do any of you know about the company at all? Also I have been browsing this sub forum and see there are "get togethers" I work weekends but I work days so I generally imbibe on saturday nights as then I only have to struggle through sunday. My wife also likes to be the hostess of pretty much anything. We can of course expand on that later, once we all know us better. I just returned form a 2 year Hiatas in the very warm parts of Texas. The cold weather here is actually one of the driving factors for me looking into pvs'. I will stop droning on for now I am sure I will have a million questions along the way. sorry if I used to any emoticons. Please be patient with us.

Welcome aboard. I don't know about a company in Wauwatosa, the only local company I'm familiar with is Johnson Creek. Where do you guys live? We have a pretty strong following in Madison and the greater Milwaukee area.

I am looking for a place where i can see what i am buying before i buy it. The place is called American e liquid store dot com I am currently located in New Berlin. I lived everywhere when I was a kid including Madison on a little street I think it was called Turner it was near a school and a Ben Franklin. I am not sure if either are still there it has been awhile.

That is what I was wondering... My wife is starting to get interested in the PV thing. I knew this because I told her you were located in West Allis and she asked if you might be willing to share small bits of flavor with us. YEA she is almost converted. Do you know of anyone nearby that might have a inexpensive eGo they would be willing to let go of so we can get started? I have emailed them by the way to see if they allow local pick ups. I will give an update as soon as I hear.

no idea about this company, but their eGo kit is $15 to $20 higher than i've seen elsewhere. also, their 510 genuine joye cartos are twice as expensive as i've seen elsewhere. even with their free shipping deal on orders over $35, you would still save money ordering from another company on these items. (i did see that their attys are $7.99, though.) so, if you are able to go visit them, you still might want order order from another store, depending on what you're buying. lots of stores have the eGo kits for $49.99 to $55 with $5 shipping.

PureSmoker.com - USA Electronic Cigarettes & USA Made eLiquid!!! for eGos at $49.99, genuine joye 510 cartos at $1.47/piece. best price i've found on them so far. i ordered 3 kits from them, and tons of cartos--they ship fast, have good CS and answer all questions via email. if you search around you can find them slightly higher priced, but i can't speak to those companies, since i haven't ordered from them. liberty flights has one called a "Riva 510", which is supposed to be just like the eGo, but with slightly larger batteries, and brass colored accents instead of silver. it's even less expensive at 37.49. here's the site: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510. i ordered a few things from them, and they ship fast. haven't ordered the Riva, though.

If AeLiquid allows you to stop in & try before you buy, go for it.....but I have to agree with EW & for the price (& maybe piece of mind?) if you submit an order to PureSmoker first thing Monday morning, there's a really good chance it could be sitting in your mailbox by Wed - Friday at the latest.

Can't wait to hear what they say about you stopping in!

Not only a supplier in our backyard, but one who says they are mixing their liquids completely in the US....in fact, they're claiming they don't use foreign nic bases at all.

Their prices ARE a little higher than what you can find out there in the webz, but IF they allow local pick-ups (and JC didn't when I asked them last year...) they might be worth a remembrance for emergencies...

oh, i'd use them in a pinch if they allowed local pickup--would even drive the hour to get there. but paying $15 to $20 extra bucks because they're from wisconsin...i'm not down with that. and for anyone from madison, add another $8-15 bucks in gas (depending on what you're driving) for the pickup, which is more expensive than shipping costs from any company.

ok quick update.... American e liquid did email me back and welcomed me to stop by. If it is ok with you all, using my powers of persuasion, I am going to talk them and see if they would have a discount for people of this group. I wanted to make sure it was ok to use the Behind the cheddar curtain name so out of courtesy I ask. I will be going to see them probably Monday. I will start a new thread after that meeting ..... almost there can't freakin wait.
