I made a thread a maybe a week ago explaining why I hated the RX300, returned it, bought a GX350, and was satisfied. Long story short, I got another RX300. So I own both mods now, and just got my TFV12 in the mail. So of course I did a comparison.
While they both hit hard as hell, as expected, at their max wattage, I feel the RX300 hits harder at 300w than the GX350 at 350w. I mean, it hits way harder. I could truly hit the GX for a split second comfortably at 350. The RX was scorching hot at 300 and was insane. Ramping back down in wattage, I noticed the RX stayed stronger than the GX all the way down to 250w, where they evened out in performance. Btw, the T12 that came with the tank held up amazingly. No dry hits or burnt taste at all during my comparison session. Still vaping great now at normal wattage for this coil (around 120 to 150).
I have no idea how to explain this, but it was my honest experience, and if anything, I am biased towards the GX350 after my bad experience w my first RX, so it wasnt anything to do w which mod/brand I favor.
If wismec ever releases a firmware update, like they did with the RX200(s)(2/3) it will be insane. 350 or even 400w on that thing, proportionally would be out of this world. If the GX350 was truly hitting 350 w, then the RX was hitting AT LEAST 375. It was that much stronger. Same w 250 on the display, the RX was doing aqt least 275 if the GX was at a true 250.
Now, I dont know if the GX wasnt really doing 350, and the RX really was doing 300, but there was a huge difference in strength at 250w and above. I had vtc5as in both mods, fully charged. The ones in the 350 were brand new, so maybe the GX wasnt htting its full potential, because the new batteries need to be broken in or something.
Anyway, that was my latest experience. My other RX had a ton of issues that I havent tried to test or look for on this one yet. All I can say is, if you are trying to decide between either mod, and the only reason you havent bought the RX is because the GX supposedly can do 50 more watts, then seriously, just get the RX. At this point (after only one initial comparison round) I believe the RX is the stronger mod by a lot.
