Hi, I am in the process of reverting back to eGo style batteries, I've tried VV/VW mods, while they did ok, finding my preference to be smaller/simpler/discrete devices. I'm needing to get some extra batteries, as of right now all I have is an old eGo twist 900MAH thats starting not to take a charge very well. I prefer a generally 2.4-2.5ohm resistance 2.2 is ok but anything lower gets too warm for me and doesn't last as long. Not sure if I want to go VV again. Looking at the EVOD Batteries and Ego-C. EVODs appear to be shorter in length with more mahs, also like the regular 3.7V vs 3.4V. I will be needing a streamlined topper to use with it. I run PG based e-liquid so want to avoid anytime of flooding/gurgling.

Shortest OAL, Most MAHs, streamlined to look like one piece, simple, straightforward.

Any suggestions on such a device?

I think I am going to go with a Spinner 2 1650MAH only a 1/4 to 1/2" longer than 900MAH Twist with almost doube capacity and very affordable. May pick up a Spinner 850 for out and about. Any opinions on the Aerotank Mini? Looks sleek on these types of battteries.

The Spinner 2 1650 is 125mm. Here's one I recently got and like. I've been a Joye eGo-c upgrade user since they came out and this is the first batt that I've liked after having tried a few others. I also like the smaller design but there are two diameter sizes in the Aspire CF batts. And two types as well the G batt (non-vv) and the VV.

With the smaller diameter 14.8mm (just a tad larger than a regular eGo batt at 14mm) they have the 650, 900 and 1100mAh batts. In the larger diameter 17.4mm they have the 1000, 1300, and 1600mah batts. Here's a chart with the sizes - top chart non-vv, 2nd chart vv:

The 'size 1 and 2' are just the 510/ego connection sizes. Size 3 is the actual length of the body and combining them gets the length of the batt. As you can see the larger diameter 1000 is the same size as the regular diam. 650.

These are well built and have some of the same good features of the Joye eGo-c but without the different modes (3.7 and 3.4 constant) and some additional features I really like - one the carbon fiber finish, the spring loaded center post (no more pulling up the post of the batt and/or the clearo) and the 6 vents on the bottom. The ones I received - the 1000 17.4mm diam and the 650 14.8mm diameter had serial numbers etc. that can combat clones.

I also liked the button - it's rectangular and recessed similar to the Joye eGo and not hard to find like the one EVOD batt where the button is flush with the body and away from the connection - I understand that might not be a problem for newbies but for someone who has been vaping eGos for five years now, putting it in a different place can be ... odd... :)

On the 1000mAh short batt, I'm using the Vapeonly D16 clearo with air control, pyrex and a sleeve that fits nicely with the larger diameter batt - well balanced and not top heavy and combined is just a bit longer than a Joye 900 (non-vv) with a T3S. On the 650's I'm using what I use on the Joye eGos - the Kanger T3S.

I got mine at heaven gifts:

Aspire CF Battery, Aspire Battery E-Cigarette | Heaven Gifts

Other vendors may have them but haven't seen anyone who has the whole line....

Edit: Here's the VV version. Dial at bottom - clicks on 0.1V increments from 3.3-4.8. The numbers are recessed - can't be worn off. From left to right:

650mAh (14.8mm) 900mAh (14.8mm) 1000mAh (17.4mm) 1300 mAh (17.4mm) 1600mAh (17.4mm)

*drools* That is a gorgeous device! But not in my budget at the moment.

Ego batts eventually go dead "eventually". the provape takes single batts, so all you have to do is buy a $6 battery a year from now after you make the initial purchase.

Budget has to be considered over the long haul. I have 2 egos right now that are losing strength and chargeabilty and I've only had 4 months.

OTOH, I do love ego style batts, so tough decision.

I was just going on that you said you don't *need* VV. In which case a joyetech upgrade batt (2 modes, but not really VV) or the provape-1 (lifetime warranty, 3.7v, separate batts) may both be a good fit.

Or any o the ones Kent mentioned.

Forget the Spinner II. I tossed mine after a few months. It doesn't charge well, doesn't hold a charge well, and the button is almost impossible to find unless you actually LOOK FOR IT on the battery. IMHO, the original Vision Spinner is superior to the Spinner II.

I have to agree. Although once I got the right charger things went better. I did like the 1300 mah one, as you do! But I do not thiink they are anywhere near as well made as Joyetech batts. Or the provape.
