Review of Clove, Hilton, Djarum Black, and Vanilla

I’ve been hunting around for the perfect clove and decided to give Aroma ejuice a try. Since I was there, I picked up a couple other flavors to sample. I am impressed with the overall quality and strength of the flavoring. They all tasted clean and smooth, with excellent vapor production and just enough throat hit to know it’s there. There was no perfume or chemical aftertaste in any of these.
My kudos to Jerry’s staff for shipping my order in under an hour (on the weekend no less) and for their attention to detail.

I chain vape so everything is 12mg nic., tested in new 2.5ohm CE2’s on a 3.7v roughstack. I don’t know the pg/vg ratio, and frankly don’t care, but the thickness is just right to wick fast enough to keep up with back to back hits.

Hilton: I love this stuff! it has been in my regular rotation since I started vaping. It has a smooth, robust, tobacco taste with a sweet undercurrent that in over a year of vaping I still can’t put a name to. Jerry’s mix is similar to other Hiltons, but the strength of the taste is much MUCH more pronounced. If I had to pick only one flavor from any vendor, this would be it.

Vanilla: This is the first vanilla I have tried. Very similar in taste to the high quality, real vanilla flavor used in baking, not the cheap artificial store brands.

Clove: My go to vape is clove and I am very picky about it. I like an intense spice that grabs you by the face, rips out your sinuses, and leaves you numb from the eugenol. This wasn’t that, but from the description I did not expect it to be. It has a definite clove flavor, but the clove doesn’t dominate the taste. There is a citrus hue that actually complements the clove really well. It also has a very slight undertone of vanilla. This is an intricate flavor and very pleasing to the palette!

Djarum Black Clove: This is also a complex flavor, smooth and earthy. The most notable taste here is maybe cardamom or ginger? I can’t quite place it, but I like it. There is a hint of clove in the background and it leaves a subtle tingling in the mouth. I’ve tried several other Djarums and they range from meh to downright nauseating. It has been years since I smoked a clove cigarette so I can’t fairly compare it to them. What I can say is it hits the taste buds just right, a solid flavor but not overwhelming.
