I'm wondering what your first thought was then....haha

The caps on the end of the cartomizer, the rubber squishy ones that you said you liked because you could remove it with your fingers.

I keep the "....-plug" (the condom caps that come on every new cartomizer) on my ecig then remove it when it's time to vape. Most of the time, whenever I remove it, the cap on the cartomizer comes off with it. It frustrates me a bit.

You're joking...right?

2hrs a day and it last a week. Nice try, but I'd like to point out for everyone that his battery claims are WAY off. These will vape for 2hrs TOPS on a charge for the standard KR808 battery. The XL's will get you 3 to 3.5hrs on a charge.

Please be more responsible when making claims, especially about the more commercialized models that will garner the extra views. If you're going to be a reviewer, you owe the community at large accurate information.

Deezy, I always thought those were called "condoms," but .... plug sounds much more fitting! I have actually had the problem that you've described, but I don't see it as a problem because when I take off the ".... plug" I generally fill it up at the same time through both ends :D.

Basil, I don't know why you're coming on so aggressive, but I am saying what MY experiences were. I did use it quite a bit in the course of a week and then didn't charge it 'til the end. I suppose maybe the fact that i used it with long intervals between each use could have somehow affected the battery life; I don't know.

On another note, two hours for these batteries seem WAY off. Unless you're puffing on it every two seconds I don't see how you could deplete the battery that fast.

For future reference, if you have something to say to me, don't be an ... about it and bad-mouth me right on my thread; I'd appreciate it if you just send me a PM and I will fix it if it actually requires mending.

Hating on forums is pointless.

Peace,
Evan

Its not a matter of hating....spreading false information is what it is about....even with standard res cartos based on simple math alone a 280 mah battery will only last an average vaper 3 hours....that's the downside of all mini and super mini style pvs....no one is going to take your reviews seriously by saying you get a week out of a kr......when using a device do what the other reviewers do before shooting your video.I know both basil and grimm do, they use that device and only that device for a set ammount of time...satisfying or not....to really get to learn and use the product.

I don't think this unit was thoroughly tested and the review requires some annotations to present the information correctly. I do understand why you didn't want to spend a week or two solely using this device, because you did already do a review of the same exact unit only under a different brand name.

That said...I don't think there is anyway that you can argue that around 3 hours of battery life is incorrect (give or take depending on frequency of inhales). Everyone has this device, it's old news. We know how long the battery lasts because it has been tested and reviewed to hell.

I also don't think there should be a comparison between atomizers and cartomizers. The bloog horizontal coil cartomizers are by far some of the best in the industry and they are no frills when it comes to getting them to work, unlike the CE2. This unit is perfect for people who are just starting out and to steer them towards atomizers is a mistake in my opinion. When comparing two things...I would stick to comparing simular things. Remember that your audience may not be ready to jump in and pick up a mod, they may have never even seen an eCig before and their reaction to seeing something as radical as a mantis is probably not going to be positive.

That said...if someone bought a Bloog because of your review, and the battery didn't last a week/10 hours...you would probably get some nasty messages on YouTube.

I mean no animosity in this post, I know constructive criticism can't be difficult to to view as actually being constructive, especially when you are reading it on a forum where tone can not be accounted for, but I'm just trying to give some pointers because you seem like you really want to put out good reviews.

Thanks man,

I feel like I can tell what kind of tone people are using on the forum. For example, you sounded sincere and completely willing to help as opposed to Basil. I always welcome constructive criticism, but not when it's not constructive or when it is aggressive. I mentioned earlier (via PM) that by "week" it was actually mon-thurs, and I was sure that I used it OVER 1 hour each day, which is why I rounded to two. In total, I figured I used it for about 5 hours, but it was probably more along the lines of 4 hours. Unfortunately, I have no way of testing it again because I already gave the device away.

However, I will annotate my video and say that it was more along the lines of four hours.

Thanks,

Evan

Even if you feel like you can tell the tone...sometimes you are probably reading something with a tone in mind that isn't always correct. Trust me, I know Basil, he's a ridiculously nice guy, I'm 100% sure he didn't mean to come off the way that you perceived him to come off.

i would also add to your annotation that battery life may vary depending on rate of use ;)

Cheers!
