Review: Tribeca from Halo

Does anyone else detect a hint of vanilla and citrus in Tribeca? What's with everyone thinking these "tobacco" flavors taste like cigarettes. I haven't tried a tobacco flavor yet that tastes remotely like cigarettes, which is a good thing, and I've vaped every Halo flavor except Tiki. Bella Vallente tastes a bit like cigars. Halo flavors are unique, there's really no description that suits them.

Good news ! The longer I've used the Tribeca the more I like it.

nyabzns, I ditto your comment. I pulled it back out tonight, and the flavor has mellowed for me. That's the thing I love about Halo--great taste without too much aftertaste. Tribeca does get better with some time.

Haven't tasted a lot of juices so I apologize for not being able to definitively describe it's taste. Was rather neutral about Tribeca at first so I began mixing it with Menthol Ice. Nice conbination...rather aromatic smell. My kids say the aroma reminds them of cotton candy, of all things. I dunno...seems to add more "body" to the menthol.

I don't think I'd vape Tribeca alone, like I do the Mentol Ice, but I'll purchase it for no other reason than it makes the Ice more flavorful.

I revisited this stuff today. When I first got it, I thought it smelled wonderful but didn't like it. The same week, I filled up a bunch of clearos with it for my hubs to take on a trip. He's still not really into vaping and I found myself in the shop without my chuck so I grabbed his vape bag and that was all that was in it along with my little chuck.
I guess it just needed to set for a few weeks cause dang, I actually am really liking it! The citrus I am getting is more like candied orange and lemon peel, or zest. Whatever it is, I just wanted to come back to post that this is indeed going to be in my cabinet from now on!

Hi Amy, thanks for the follow-up. We try to pre-steep them as much as possible, but sometimes they still need to sit a bit longer. Much appreciate you revisiting it for us.

Yes.....sometimes. I love this juice. I get excellent TH, flavor, and vapor at 24 mg. I'm intrigued by JB's post in another thread about a new tobacco flavor coming. Woo-hoo!!!

Just scrapped the rest of the trial bottle into a dual coil carto and am blasting away on 6 volts. These cartos are juice hogs so I ran my .... over to the website and ordered a 30ml bottle. I'll get a sample of the new stuff, kinda bummed I missed out on the malibu sample though.
Anyhoo, for me to find something I like (since the torque just ruined me for most juice) is amazing. The dual coils suck down juice like no tomorrow so I hope I get it soon! Keep up the great work.

new favorite flavor Tribeca from halocigs. awesome, but it is the only halo flavor i have tried. Since finding this new awesome flavor (Thanks to player for sending it PIF) I have ordered a Halo sampler! I am pretty sure Torque 56 will be the new fav but u never know.

Torque is fantastic, my go to vape.

I really like this one as well, ordered a sampler with my last order and just ordered a 30ml bottle as well. Subtle RY4 type flavor, clean, moderate vapor and throat hit. Good morning coffee vape for me.

Interestingly enough I found that this goes really well with the Prime flavor I received a sample of. Didn't wash out the atty when I changed flavors and really liked the mix of the two.

The first few puffs gave me a "WTF Moment", since it's quite a bit different than any juice I've tried. After the initial confusion, I've developed quite an affection for it. I've been vaping 24mg on a Boge 2.0ohm carto at 4v on my Provari. Nice TH, good vapor, smooth creamy caramelly goodness. I'm going to pick up a bottle of Torque on my next visit to the shop. Great job Halo...you have won me as a repeat customer.

Few of us think it tastes just like the prefilled RY4 from Bloog. That's one of my favorites and since they don't carry juice it was nice to find this one to fill that gap.
