Revival of dead thread?

I've tried searching so maybe I'm just having a search idiosy moment but when is thread too old to post in, and starting a new one is preferred? I was just reading about direct inhales and saw the thread was 4 months old....soooooo I'm asking this question insteadof digging it up haha...

I see no reason why a necro'd thread would cause a ruffle, so long as it's pertinent. Necro away oh warlock!

I guess that is a judgement call that will have to with relevance and it depends on how old it actually was.

I always like to see new folks ask a question and then refer/reference an old thread. Shows they are using the wealth of information that is available on these forums.

You don't have to be overly concerned about that in this section. No one is going to tell you to do a search. At least I hope not. If you have a question, just ask.

Welcome to ECF , and a lot of noobs , ask questions here , that have probably been answered , many , many times . But , ask away , no one is going to get on you for asking a question . That's why this forum is here . For new users to glean as much info. as they can . No one is going to expect you to try and find an old , pertinent thread .
