Rewick evod BCC

Hi,

I'd like to be able to rewick my evod bcc's. I've got no problem with following guides on youtube, but where do I buy the correct wick etc from in the UK?

You can buy wicks and kanthal wire from Stealth vape or ebay.

If you want to try cotton wicks, you can use butchers twine, at least that's what its called here in Canada. It is food grade and cheap.

I love it (not) how everybody says how easy it is to re-wick/coil an evod or protank.

I have done lots and my current success rate is under 25%. Many hours wasted.

and yet, my success rate with everything else is almost perfect.

Copied and pasted from a post I made a while back but I still use the same method and it`s still working as good

My method for Evod heads is.

6 wraps of 30awg Kanthal around a 2mm toothpick giving 1.7ohm.
Install with the coil on the toothpick in the head.
Pull the toothpick when the insulator grommet is in and the legs pulled tight.
Flash fire the coil.
Pull through a doubled over length of 1.5mm Ekowool (giving a 3.0mm wick) and being as Ekowool is slightly hollow and the diameter collapses slightly it will pull through snug but not choke.
One length of 1.5mm Ekowool as a flavor wick.
Fit post, trim wick,fit cup upside down, fill and vape

So essentially the two items to order for this (excluding toothpick ) are:

- 1.5 mm Ekowool
- 30 AWG Kanthal

and that's that?

Yep If you want 2.0ohm just get 31awg Kanthal, Oh a pair of nail clippers to trim the wire and wick and a toothpick

I`ve got a batch of Evods and spare heads coming from Fast tech in a few days (hopefully they hav`nt let me down so far) and if I get time I`ll do a short pictorial as they will all be recoiled and re-wicked to my specs as I do with all my stuff.
