Rewicking stardust

hi fellow vapers,

a noob 1st try on rewicking, just got my hands on the kanthal wires and silica wicks, now stuck on how to use or where to buy a multimeter in our country? and, read about ss mesh & cotton wicks, anyone can help me to understand the various materials for wicking?

thanks for the info. i wen to those DIY shops to get one, but the range of ohms are from 200 to 200M, would it be able to read lower ohms?

Guys, bought a multimeter try out on my old wicks. Seems to be tough trying to get a fixed reading. Any tips ?

i think it shorted, a few of my rewicked kangers shorted cause ur postive and negative touch the same type of surface

Dude, when you do up your coil and inserting it into the post, try not to let the coil touches the post. The space is very limited so you have to do a really tight coil. Also after you insert, use a pin to adjust the coil away from the post. Always use a multimeter to test first before you fire it up.

My 2c hope it helps.

Is it easy? seems pretty complicating, may try rewicking my stardust for stealthvape in the future. *got no balls bring pv out to vape* hehe

Well you will get the hang of it eventually, like me. Anyway it is not really that difficult la, just that they are all small parts so need some good hand eye coordination..
