Hey Guys,

So I was at my local vape store and I struck up a conversation with this random customer about vaping as we were both puffing on our nimbus'. I proceeded to ask the owner if he had any wicks and what kind, the guy interrupted and told me that it is not a good idea to use wicks (silica etc) in a nimbus because it mutes alot of the flavor much like the CE4's. He showed me his setup and he had his nimbus coiled and set up with regular cotton balls. I was in a rush so I didnt have time to ask him about it but its gotten me thinking. Does anyone know how to properly set up a nimbus with cotton balls rather than silica wick? Ive had my nimbus for a couple of days and so far its pulling excellently but im curious about rewicking it with my 28 gauge kanthal and purchasing some cotton balls to try it out. Just not sure how to approach it. Can someone help me out?

Thanks,

vex

Yup, it's really very easy and done just like tmcase said. If you want to see some pictures of how to do it, super_X_drifter did a tutorial on coiling and wicking a RM2 atty, but it really applies to any rda using cotton. He uses a large needle to help get the wick in the coil, but you don't need that. I wet the small end of the wick before I put mine in the coil to help keep it pointy and that works fine.
