Anyone else rewrapping their Protank coil? I started microcoil (28 gauge, 10 - 12 wraps ~1.3 ohm coils) wrapping my Protank 2 with the Aerotank bottom piece and I love it. Best vapor I've gotten out of a tank. Any thoughts, opinions, etc? Also, anyone been brave enough (or able) to rewrap a Protank 3?

I do it all the time as well.... What did you use to wick it? Once I rebuild I use organic cotton instead of silica.... for me it's just so much better. Never tried, nor do I own a PT3 but I do have 3 of the aero tank bases in use on my PT 2's.

Similar here, but I do 7 wraps for .8Ω and daily drive it on a mech. Great dependable vape!

28 gauge temco kanthal 12 wraps for around 1.3 ohms. I also wick it with cotton. The flavor can't be beat and since I rebuilt this coil and used cotton for the wick, I haven't had to change the cotton in 5 days! (I started rewrapping because I was going through a coil somewhere between a day to 2 days.) I use it on my MVP 2 and it works wonders. I can't sub ohm on my MVP 2 because it throws an error. I never thought about sub ohming a protank and throwing it on my mech though... And yes. The air flow control makes a WORLD of difference. Best thing since sliced cheese!
