Then you have multiple flavors to use and enjoy.. Win-- Win

The only thing that scares me on DIY is when the OCD kicks in. Get a great juice made, and tweak it one more time and it's great and you tweak it one more time and it's great and you tweak it one more time... etc etc

I think you must have gotten that information in error Levitas.Ive been a user of AVE for a long time now and there NO WAY the percentage is of flavoring is that high.

They offer a flavor bump in their checkout and state that they will prioritize flavor over vg but I dont think its meant literally.

I think they achieve that fullness from layering in different flavors. We were just talking an another thread about how Hype has melon undertones to it.

I've ruined juices this way  I've learned to take my time, and if it's a juice I really love, I'll make a separate, smaller bottle to experiment on :)

Why is a premixed bottle of tobacco juice the only way it could be true? And per your last statement, a Premixed bottle of 18mg used at 33%, well, that still wouldn't equate to 50% of flavoring. I know what you're saying. You're saying that they're using the premix, and calling it a flavor. No offense, but, doesn't that seem presumptuous? I know, no more than believing everything I read on the internet. However, I am just curious on why you think that the method you've offered has to be the only way?

Hmmm! Well at the time i posted that was the only thing I thought of. With the second post I thought of something else 33% and 17% = 50%. But You know I guess there could be a million ways to mix a juice where one or more flavorings contain nic at any concievable amount of mg where the resulting juice can not be ordered at less than 6mg nic. ;)

I was just speculating out loud. Sorry if I ruffled some feathers.

Didn't you know that everything you read on the internet is true.

Just because they don't sell boba's below 6mg nic does not mean their flavoring has nic, more likely with out the nic the juice feels like it is missing a certain something. I test my flavors without nic to get the basic formula, but the taste does get a little more depth when you add nic and that's when i duo my final tweaking on a recipe. Sometimes a liquid will taste flat at 0mg, so it is possible that is the reason boba's only goes down to 6 mg.

I somehow doubt that's the reason for just 6mg and above. I'm thinking that, as a vendor, if I had a choice of selling zero nic and making money, or selling nothing, then I would sell zero nic. But heaven knows what AVE is thinking.'
Personally, I think they are using an extraction and that they can only add nicotine to it and can't eliminate the nicotine altogether.
But who knows what anyone will do to add to the mystery of a product. Whatever it is, Boba's is certainly wildly popular.

Ok, I have started my DIY process and made 2 recipes so far. I am using multiple flavors and using 60Pg 40VG mix. The two I have made so far taste decent, have GREAT vapor production and have an ok throat hit. What I want more than anything is a full, rich flavor, something akin to House Blend by Copper Creek or Boba's Bounty by AVE.

I was wondering what are the requirements, or determining factors for good throat hit? Rich full flavor?

Great thread! Can I ask which 2 recipes you made so far that are decent but lack rich full flavor? Maybe we all can try to duplicate your recipes and go from there? :)
