MC28, I just bought my bike 1 month ago & just paid my 1st installment. Really didn't have time to get da cert & silencer for da aftermarket exhaust dat was already on da bike when I got it. I explained to da officer in a very nice manner, considering da fact dat I was super tired from my 12hr shift. I even passed to him the
insurance where da date was stated very clearly. He just gave me a straight plain face & started taking photos of my bike with his camera. He said dat my exhaust was illegal cuz it had no silencer. But he took photos of da whole bike, every single angle & multiple close up shots. Da thing is, da bike was sent for a full inspection in dat particular state when I bought it. He simply said," Ok. U just go back & wait for da summon letter. When it arrives to u, u go & appeal.". So I guess showing any form of documentation defeats da purpose la.
He then asked me if I had anything on. I said dat I need to get back home to get some rest as I'll be working again dat nite. He asked me to follow him for inspection. Ya right! At 7.45am in da morning. He den realized dat da inspection centre is not yet opened. So he told me to go by myself instead. He gave me a pc of paper which stated dat I have to go for inspection @ 8.30am. He just ignored me & didn't even say dat I was ok to go off. I had to ask him if there was anything else he had for me, den he just said "no" & dat I can leave.
So, I went back home, put my work stuff aside & left for da inspection centre. At da given location of da inspection centre, da staff I had approached read da note dat I brought along. He quickly told me to go back to da
shop, and get da bike looking & sounding in stock condition. Cuz he will have to take photos of da bike & report all of it to his HQ. It may result in more summons later on.
I went straight to da bike
shop & told them da situation. Da shop owner kena F very badly from me cuz I had asked for da certificate & silencer since I bought da bike. He told his mechanic to do watever is necessary for me den send da bike for inspection. Ya, I waited & waited. They only got everything done @ 4.30pm. So, ya. I had NO breakfast, NO lunch, haven't shower whole day, haven't gotten any sleep as well. Whole day was waiting at da shop for da bike to be settled. I got home @ 5pm. Took a shower, had a "bre-lun-ner"(bfast, lunch, dinner) den left for work @ 6.45pm. Didn't had much rest da nite b4, den no rest in da day & had to work again da next nite. I only had off yesterday to do da cert & all.
I understand dat da officer is just doing his job. I would understand if he is a robot with no feelings or even any intelligence of listening to reasons. But god gave us a pair of eyes, ears & a brain to think & use wisely.
I may still just be blabbering my way thru rite now. But seriously, is dis being even human?? Wat a way to go for his yr end bonus. Catch more ppl, get more pay??
