After skipping to the 45 sec mark and watching 10 sec I declare you the winner, hands down. No contest.

I can't help but constantly wonder WHY the obsession...it's just nicotine - what the hell are we doing lol...then I go back to browsing the APV section looking for my next mod even though I don't need anything else as long as I live. Inhaling watermelon flavored steamvapor is endlessly fascinating? Really?

If I understand correctly the "reverse taryn spin" entails filling a cartomizer w/ liquid and twirling it around on a lanyard...preferably to dance music...am I missing something?

I think it's the opposite of filling. It's like the "reverse" so you can save your grapey goodness when you fill an effed up carto.

I'm not sure if you have an actual interest in why people take vaping so seriously, or are just kind of joking, but if you really are curious why people take vaping so seriously:

for one it's the same thing as any other hobby that people are passionate about. Some people's only interaction or knowledge of cars is where the stick the key in, and how to drive. They don't care about their car as long as it moves them around like it's supposed to.

Then you have people who are automotive enthusiasts. We are very fascinated with the various technical aspects of carts, enjoy rebuilding motors, upgrading parts, wrench time is an actual pleasurable experience, not simply something that needs to be done in order to fix a car. We also enjoy thinking of "automotive theory" and how it effects the way the car works and operates. The dynamics of how air moves around inside the intake, how scavenging in your exhaust works to increase performance, and how all the parts effect these concepts.

Or computer gurus, who build their own computers, upgrade components, write code, customize their cases, etc etc. Then you have people who only know and are only interested in turning it on and opening up internet explorer.

Many people are simply interesting in vaping to get them off cigarettes. Many others take it a step further and treat it as a hobby. There are tons of technical aspects to vaping, and if you have zero interest in those aspects that's cool, but many of us enjoy getting deeply involved with the "theory" of vaping. We think about how airflow over the coil effects the vape, and how to improve it. How the design of the coil changes different qualities of the vape. Thinking about which materials are best suited for which roles. About designs which make things operate smoother or better. How to fix current problems with vaping. We enjoy electronics and tinkering, getting out the multimeter and tracking down an issue, being mentally stimulated by problem solving.

Without these kinds of people, vaping wouldn't be what it is today. The carto-tank was invented and refined by people on these online forums, by people who take vaping seriously. If everybody shared the idea of "it's just nicotine" and had no other interest in vaping, you wouldn't have any of the gear you do. Because those uninterested types of people don't invent new methods and technologies that work better, they sit around and benefit from the time and effort of others.

And to take it a step further, without the people who take it seriously, humans wouldn't be where we are today. Our civilization exists because some people like to tinker, get involved, invent, improve, and discuss all of those things with other like-minded people. The motivation for that is passion or need. If us people that take vaping seriously weren't so passionate about it, once again you wouldn't have any of the gear you have.

Some guy a long time ago was looking at a spear, and thought that there might be a better way to hurl that spear at something, so they invented the bow and arrow. Or, actually the Atlatl I believe and THEN the bow, which further demonstrates the refining of a technology to make it perform and operate better.

You poke fun of the people posting pictures of their RBA wicks. Understandable, if you have no interest or passion in the technology behind vaping, it would seem pointless and boring to you. But when I look at those pictures I see different ways of doing things. Ideas people have tried, different wick materials, different shapes, lengths, methods for creating the wick. Round Nichrome, round Kanthal, flat ribbonwire, double coil wraps, single coil wraps. It goes on and on.

So you don't have to be interested as deeply as other people are, but at least show some respect that you are personally benefiting from these people, because what they are tinkering around with today, becomes a product you buy and use tomorrow. The better products we have access to, the more likely people will stick with vaping, which could very well literally save lives, pretty serious deal if you ask me.
