I plugged a couple of the holes to restrict the airflow and that did the trick. I have noticed in the morning it takes a long time before it starts working smoothly. The glass and metal are so heavy that if it gets cold it doesn't warm up very fast and the juice doesn't vaporize, it just gurgles. Once it heats up I like it.
I think I read something or saw a video about how to make them work. If I see it again I'll post a link. I pre-ordered two more of the Protanks last night.
I ordered em after some guy posted on another forum that he used em w/o any modification and they made the draw tighter but otherwise worked perfectly, said u could swap the posts if u want since the evod is shorter but it doesn't rly matter. idk if they fit AND make the draw tighter sounds like it may be a perfect solution. i grabbed an evod just in case they fail miserably tho.
wth is going on here...ecx order confirmation email received at 4:52pm thurs, package shipped and received at post office at 4:29pm thurs...something's not right here...order placed at 4:50pm, shipped 20 min before? ok...

I wasn't aware u could purchase Velostat by the yard...that changes everything.
btw supposedly the only difference is the o-ring is slightly larger on an evod head which makes the draw tighter if put in a protank (might have to shave it down) other than that they're the exact same except for the length of the rodshaft.
Did you see Edward's blog? About half-way down he talks about switching the heads. This is what I was thinking of when I said I'd heard about it somewhere:

ah ok, sounds like if u switch the rods that's all u need to do if u want a tighter draw - might be too tight but i can always shave a lil off the o-ring...sounds easy. only choice anyway since the heads are mia. thx for the link.
random thought - was it by intentional design this thread is not only full of ridiculous things but also ridiculous in itself? or am i just a ridiculous person who made a ridiculous thread populated w/ ridiculous things which by chance turned out to be ridiculous in itself - thru no fault of my own - do ridiculous things by themselves make the thread ridiculous? take away my incoherent ramblings and is it still ridiculous? does this post right here make the thread ridiculous? idk and idc, all i know is this thread is ridiculous and i like it.
