They have replacement batteries on their site. There are many vendor that sell 10440 batteries too.

Thanks AttyPops, you must be a pretty smart guy. Thanks for the tip and reassurance. I'm not really sure how this thing works, but it works great on the computer and in the car. It's actually my favorite vape cuz it's always charged. :vapor:

Nah, I'm just the "geek of the moment" on this thread. There's a ton of great help on this forum, some are even electronic engineers and such. Glad to hear your PT is working well for you desertlover.

P.S. Check to see if the battery is "protected". It will generally say on it. Or make sure you get the battery intended for whatever PT you are using. Some PTs may have protection circuits built in. IDK.

I was charging the battery overnight and then when it would die I would plug it in to my pc (will not do that anymore, thanks @FantWriter for the warning) and use it as a passthrough and then charge it at night again.

If it has a battery, it's safe to plug into a pc. It's only the ones without an inline battery that draw so much current you're playing with fire.

FanWriter is correct about the FIVE VOLT PTs (no inline battery) being ... let's say... not a good idea.... plugged into a computer USB port. Just to rephrase FanWriter, the battery driven 3.x volt PTs are just trickle charging and should be fine on a computer USB port (not counting shorts, fried circuits or other such that can happen on any USB device). The battery PTs only draw 400 ma (.4 amps) or so. The 5 volt PTs, OTOH, need TWO amps.... so use the wall wart.

I said "Don't try to use a PT on a computer's USB port unless it has an inline battery" assuming people would understand that it's okay to use one with an inline battery. I guess I should have gone for more explanation and less terseness.

@desertlover I was using it both as a battery and as a passthru and for some reason it just stopped working. I would strongly suggest you get some sort of a backup system established. There have been a few great suggestions on here regarding what a good backup would be.

A Monkeyboxx is a wooden bottom feeder juice mod. He now has a website called The Wooder Man - Custom Wooden Electronic Cigarettes

Thanks everyone for all your replies and suggestions on this topic.
