Looks like that is a mistype. We are phasing the EM Riva out, in favor of the smok Tech Riva. I have 2 orders I'm waiting on... One from December, and another from February. As soon as they are delivered, they will be counted and stocked.

Do you think these are better? I have alway liked the Riva you carried. In fact I really liked the EM Riva. How will these be better? Is'nt the Riva EM the Joye EGO. What would be the difference between the Smoke tec Riva and there Ego? I mean the Riva was alway called the knock off of the Ego. Imo the Riva is better than the Joye Ego. But what could be different between the smoke tec Riva and Ego?

I have wondered the same thing. I here people say the riva is better than the ego and what not but what is the difference between them a side from the price? Also since smok tech will be making the riva now what is the difference between the smok tech riva and the smok tech ego?
Ty could you let us know what we will be looking at here. Are the Riva's you have now Smoke tec? Or there not in yet?

Whatever the replacement is, I hope it is equal to, or greater than, and compatible, with my beloved Rivas. In the past year, I have bought 10 kits through you guys. (some, for people I have converted)

I finally took the provari plunge but will continue to cherish my Riva's as emergency backups. AND come back to LF for my other needs as well.

The EM Riva can be a really nice device... but we had far too many warranty returns. I don't care if the battery only cost $12, it should work! I told EM that over and over. They would correct it on the next batch, and by the one after that, QC was back down. Unacceptable in my book. We have sold out of our initial batch of Smok Tech Riva kits, and have had much better results. Only a couple returns. you see, with the EM's it wasn't uncommon to get about 25% faulty. A lot of people would open a kit, and BOTH batteries would be faulty! The customer already had to wait like 3 or 4 days for it, now they gotta wait another 3 or 4 just to use it!
So reliability is +1 for Smok Tech
Performance is on par. Smok Tech Riva is just as good as the EM.
Aesthetics are the same. Maybe some markings (logo, batch numbers, fonts) will be different, but the finish and form factor are should be the same.
Our initial Smok Tech Rivas DO NOT feature a master ON/OFF function. I will get this implemented soon.
I still have EM Riva batteries in stock, for sale separately.
Also.... another thing I've noticed that is a +1 for SMK vs EM.... The Smok Tech Riva batteries don't have the "open circuit" issue like a lot of the Riva's had. So you'll spend more time vaping, and less time fiddling with your center post
Yes I do agree that there was alot of problems with the Riva, I had to return some myself. But when they worked they work good. If smoke tec is better that is a + for me. But I need to order some batts soon here. And I don't want pink. When will your new Riva's come in? I hope soon.
Agreed. I like to have 2 backup kits at all times. It seems that almost every week, I get a new convert at work. Nobody seems to bother ordering this stuff themselves and I'm always glad to set them up. Converted yet another smoker yesterday so it's time to order a couple of kits and clearos when they come in.
I hope so too. Our first order arrived in good time, and this delay is a real inconvenience. I can promise, that as soon as they do arrive, I will get them counted and listed, ASAP, even if that means working late.
