Riva battery dead?

Before you have a funeral....

take a cotton swab / q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.
Clean off the atty well (where your atty screws into your battery)
Clean off the threads (where you would screw on a cone)
Let it Dry - Very Dry - Completely Dry - Hit is with a hair dryer for a second.
Then check the battery again.

You may also need to disconnect your charger and run a cotton swap with alcohol over the charger connection. Gunk does build up.

Maybe this will help. Maybe not. You have nothing to lose by trying.

I have been using my riva ego same batteries and charger since September 2010, I had some issues with the batteries getting super hot while charging, however the solution is since I am a dripper, clean the inside of the battery with a q tip dipped in alcohol, clean the charger's battery contact, make sure they are completely dry from both the alcohol and any ejuice. They charge fine and have not given me any problems.
