As many know I decided on the Riva 510 a couple weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. However, I was wondering about accessories for it and whatnot. Could I just use the cones from an Ego or would I have to find somewhere specifically to get a Riva cone? They both look about the same, but I don't know if the cones have a different threading between the two models or if there is a slight size difference. The problem is I would like another cone just in case I happen to bend the only one I have or something.

On another note, about drip tips... I thought these were for normal cart/atty usage, but I've read a few posts recommending them on cartomizers as well. I barely know how the things are even supposed to work, but if this is the case, I might want one. Does anyone know of a good quality one (I would probably get 5 or so for different cartos) that isn't too long?

Now that you mention mega batteries, do you need to use those in order to use the mega carto's? there's another thread where someone said they used a mega carto on an Ego or Riva (can't remember which) and it kept frying their batteries. I was wondering perhaps if that was their issue. If someone knows, it's here on the first page if you can help them.

And again, on drip tips... Are they easily washable? Is there any reason to really have more than a few of them? From what I can tell you can pop them off, wash it, and use that same one for another flavor.

Mega carts and cartos will work with a Riva or any size eGo. When we talk about eGo Mega batts, all that refers to is the amount of mah's. There are three different eGo batt sizes; 900mah, 1000mah and 1300mah. The more mah, the longer the battery and the longer it will last between charges. I have a 900mah and it's slightly longer than my Riva. I can vape for at least 12 hours with the eGo batt.

I use Mega carts and cartos and I've never had a problem with them frying any of my batts.

Drip tips are pretty much easy care, wash, dry and vape. They're hollow and just sit on top of your atty so you can drip directly into it. Unless you gunk up the sides with juice, you can pretty much change flavors without taking it off.

Just a side note: Dripping will help make your juice last longer because it gets vaped completely. You don't lose any of it like you can when using carts or cartos.
