FINALLY! i've found the perfect vaping rig! has a huuuuuuge battery lifespan, is not an obnoxious size, or an awkward mod shape, and hits like a champ! i ordered the Riva UNC from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings and received it right in time for my birthday! :) i took about 3-4 days to show up to my house. I was also able to take advantage of their 20% off code (niiiice!)

the battery was bigger than what i expected at first (truth: ok i kinda ordered it when i was drunk...) but it's not an obnoxious size. it has a good sturdy weight to it, and looks like a stubby, gold tipped cigar. the one thing i was HATING right off the bat was the need to drip constantly. it's a three piece system: batt, atomizer, cartridge. and you're constantly having to drip the carts. like, every 10 puffs or so. absolutely unacceptable!

on the totally awesome and sound advice of ECF's own Don, i ordered two packs of the "Resurrector" cartomizers from Crystal Clear Vaping. holy what with the what now!! PERFECT! they're big 'ol cartos so you can really load them up with juice, and they hit great, have awesome throat hit. and they're affordable to boot! love love love! they also sent me a drip tip (which i adore, though i've never actually dripped through it, i just like the comfy feel of it in my mouth) and a n 18g hypodermic needle (kind of totally creepy actually.... like maybe now i can just mainline my nic juices on a bad day) to fill/clean the cartos.

great set up. i highly reccomend it!!

i will def end up buying a second batt for "just in case" situations, but seriously, in the week that i've had this thing i have not once run it dry. i vape all day long: while i'm getting ready for work, while i'm at work, at the bar, and all the way until i'm getting into bed. i'm amazed by the battery life on this thing! i used to keep 3 charged batteries on hand with my Bloog maxxfusion or smokeless image Volt, and rotated them constantly throughout the day.

A good first backup, might be a so-called 'passthru battery'. A real pasthru is something that you can plug your atty/carto onto, and just vape straight from it. A PC or many wall chargers cannot provide enough 'oomph' (also considered Mah) to really do it. A passthru battery is a battery, that you can unscrew an end cap to plug into a charger, and use it while it's charging. If you spend much time in a vehicle, those are great for that.

It works on it's own as a battery, but you can keep using it while it's charging as well. But? The more backups the better.
