Just got my Riva today. My charger for my regular 510 batteries starts green, turns red when I screw the batteries in, and then goes back to green when they're fully charged. Vaped my Riva until the button started blinking, screwed it into the USB charger ( which is plugged into a Mains plug ), and the button light blinked like normal, but the USB light starts green and is still green with the battery screwed in. My kit didn't come with a manual. How will I know when my battery is charged? Is it supposed to stay green? Oh, and to clear up any confusion, I screwed my Riva into the USB charger that came with my kit, NOT my standard 510 charger : P

Hmm..used the search button and saw a few other posts about a USB light staying green. I'm now guessing that I was sent a faulty charger : (

Took the battery off the charger after 3 hours, and it's charged. Wondering if I want to go through the trouble of sending it back for a replacement or not if it's just an indicator light issue. Wondering why I didn't receive a manual for my kit as well. The product description says "Full color manual." Not that I really need it.

I'd shoot them an email. Based on my previous experience with the USA site, they'll send you a replacement ASAP. In the 2 instances I dealt with them on Ego issues, they sent out the replacement and only requested the bad battery back at my convenience.

On them sending the wrong atty, they told me to not bother returning it even though it was unused. All they asked for was the part number they had sent incorrectly so they could update their inventory numbers. LF definitely has got the customer service situation worked in favor of the customer.

That's one reason I buy from them on any items they stock that I need. :)

My Riva charger started to act up after about 3 months, so I e-mailed Abe at Liberty Flights UK and asked if there was a warranty on the charger, his reply was (I will credit your account with £5) and guess what the cost of a new charger was £4.99 , thats why i use Liberty as much as possible. just my opinion

Go to Liberty's description. For Riva batteries ONLY it says something like: Do not plug the charger into the source of 5 volts until the battery is connected to the charger. (This is the opposite of what most people do.) Try that.

Here is the page with the exact quote:

I use eGo, not RIVA, batteries so I have no direct experience. Perhaps others can comment.
