I have my eGo charger plugged in to a USB on my computer, and I know the USB port works because I've used other chargers with it. But whenever I plug my eGo Twist battery into the charger at the end of the night, the LED is red. Sometimes is blinks green every couple of seconds, sometimes it doesn't. When I wake up in the morning, sometimes the LED is green, but most times it's red. But it always seems to be charged, regardless. Anybody else ever experience this?

This area of the forum isn't visited to often, as strange as that sounds being that there are tons of eGo users out there. In answer to your question, the USB on your computer isn't a good idea to charge your Twist. Your best bet is to just charge it from the wall. It's also not good to use the USB to charge because it may cause harm to your motherboard in the computer. The led being green means it's 100% charged, and it's normal for the led to flicker between green and red. A Twist should be fully charged within an hour or so if it's a 650mah, if it's higher, than it takes about two hours to fully charge. My wife's eGo-T mod takes almost 6 hours to fully charge!

If you are leaving it on the charger for hours and hours, and the led is still red, you might try to clean the charger threads with a q-tip (unplug it first) and some rubbing alcohol and do the same on the threaded end of your Twist as well. Sometimes the ends being dirty won't let the charger work properly.

My charger--a standard 420 ma or so--takes about 2.5 hours to charge my 650 mah Twist if it is run down all the way. It could never do it in an hour.

I have two twists and keep one on the charger at all times. As soon as I see it's charged I use that battery and put the other one on the charger. So I'm almost always charging a partially-depleted battery. This makes the batteries last a little longer, too. But it's about 2.5 hours if I let one run all the way down.
