Hi,Thanks in advance for your advice. I have been vaping for a littleover a year. I started out with a kit from 7/11 that was good enoughto convince me that e-cigs could work for me. For almost a year I'vebeen using a Riva. I also have an EGO battery that I use as back up.It's time for me to get new batteries, and I think my charger is onits last leg...so...time for a new kit! I have had some challenges, and hope that if I give you the right information, you may be able to steer me in the right direction.WhatI like about the Riva: The battery usually lasts me for at least24 hours, The size is convenient, I like the appearance, thebatteries have lasted me for a lllooonnnggg time!Mybiggest problem is LEAKAGE! I started out with a regular atomizerand cart. The filler was a PITA, I'd have to add juice so often thatI finally figured out that dripping was working better...without thatnasty burned taste. But either way it leaks. Especially when I put it in my pocket. I got these translucentblue tanks, but all the liquid leaked out...I'm not sure if Iwas filling it wriong, or it was defective, or possibly I'm not supposed to use those with the regular 510 atomizer? I have to use 100% vg juice. In fact I use almost exclusively ECMenthol from The Vapor Room. I have had lung problems even when I've tried to thin with distilled water or Everclear. I have no problems as long as I stick with all vg. I really prefer a cool vape, not warm. I like having some vapor, but could care less about throat hit. I am currently dripping with a LR atty. That tastes good, but leaks, and 'spits' in my mouth...yecchh. I don't think I need variable voltage...I think 3.7 volts is probably my sweet spot; especially as I prefer a cool hit. If I could find a solution that would let me keep using the 100% vg,that stays cool, and DOESN'T LEAK ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE I'd be a happy camper. I was considering staying with the Riva, and trying a cartomizer ortank...I've seen several good comments about Boges and Clearomizers...but have also seen comments that they don't work well with the 100% vg, and people praising the nice warm hit...lol. I've also been considering tube mods, box mods, etc. I would LOVE to have my days supply of juice in a bottle inside my pv! I'm assuming that would taste as 'clean' as dripping...So, the 3 I'm considering at the moment are: 1- Riva (If I can solve the leakage problems) 2- Vmod or Vmod XL 3- RoughStack. Oh...there'salso a PowerBox Mod from MadVapes that looks interesting. My last complication is, of course, $$$. I can't spend more that $100 including any extras, shipping and handling. Any suggestions, clarifications, etc. Would be most appreciated!!! Thank you for your patience...I'm constitutionally unable to be concise...

I think $100 is more than enough to get something that works well for you...

As far as leaking goes... the most efficient solution for me was dripping and vaping it fairly dry or blowing it out before I stuck it in my pocket...

I have seen new riva shaped e-cigs with tops... like a lipstick etc...

Haven't owned a Vmod... though it seems to me that they are frequently for sale in the classies... not sure if people aren't digging them or if too many people bought them impulsively.... in any case... makes me look closer... they might be a great deal.

The Reo was super reliable for me... over $100 though... unless you make a friend in the classies.

I do like madvapes... The roughstack is a good mod from what I can tell... but here's my caution: if it's like the vapestack (previous model) then there is a chance that you may need to tweak it every so often... possibly even send it back for repair...
My vapestack would leak from the atty into the battery chamber... over the wires etc...

You might be better off getting more of a solid state mod... unless the roughstack is one nowadays...
maybe someone can let us know?
in other words... get a mod that is sealed at the atty connector so no liquid can get into the electronics... something relatively hassle free... with no wires

a silver bullet? indulgence? sabre touch? copper? I have a few Vaprlife mods... they work excellently.

though with a mod... you may still have the same leakage problems you suffered with the riva...

One more thing to consider.. and hopefully a more technologically endowed vet can answer this better - but it seems to me that some 3.7 mods have electronics that put out a constant voltage/wattage... to avoid drop off in power... I know Vaprlife does... and higher-end mods like Darwin and Provari etc...
This may help with the atty issues... I know when I use an underpowered source that my atties don't respond correctly and
leakage is more likely...

for what it's worth... good luck and apologies if my post confused you more.
