I take your word for it, but those two PCB's don't
look the same in the video.
Did you examine the
switches while you were at it? I've been having conversations with a technical wiz type who has been fiddling with stuff to connect to fat batts. He says that the eGo has a more robust MOSFET than the Riva (or any other eGo clone) and better PWM (pulse-width modulation, right?)*.
* Just don't ask me what
that means.

For example, here is how I defined 'mosfet' in a post last month: "a cute little mouse-like creature living in your fat batt's switch. It is allergic to the high amps (gremlin) associated with LR attys and cartos."
