Wow that's a ton a pattents. Here is a link to a pattent filed in 1963. It also has the diagram you can't mistake it for anything but an E-cig.

Nice find Brad!! Fascinating read....it is amazing and also disturbing but understandable that this invention took forty-plus years to finally make it to market. Big money has always ruled and public health is always shelved...there are so many examples of this throughout our history it is truly disgusting. Thanks Brad for the link.
