RMS vs. Mean on Vamo

So I've been vaping on my Vamo V5 for a while now and accidentally came across the RMS and Mean options. I tried both and couldn't really tell a noticable difference between the two. I was hoping maybe someone could enlighten me on the advantages and disadvantages.

Mean is inaccurate and will cause dry burnt hits. It is also dangerous as it can use more amperage than you are expecting and damage your battery. Keep it on RMS.
Conversely, if you vape at 15 watts, and need a bit more, and have batteries spec'ed for much more amperage in it, you can get more power by using mean.

RMS and Mean are simply two different ways of measuring a non DC voltage. RMS is the standard way we measure volts. If you have one mod set to 4 volts RMS and another set to 4 volts Mean, the mod set to mean is putting out a higher voltage and therefore more power.
