How 'bout a few stories of Roberts supernatural ability to solve problems large and small here in Reoville.
I'll start. This weekend my mini mysteriously just stopped working. (see thread Help! - mini failure) So of course i came here for help. One hour and five minutes after i posted Robert responded with the solution. Some other good folks responded as well but - ONE HOUR FIVE MINUTES. Just sayin'. Thanks for keeping Reoville chuggin' along Robert.

Hey Nic-Fan thankyou for sharing your story. Rob spends alot of time, thought, and care in making this Product and most of the time when there is a problem its with an apt. or a carto or atty thats not firing and needs to be adjusted to make contact. Thats one reason most if not all the people in Reoville use and continue buying any and all products he makes. TROUBLE free mod and might add Nice looking too.(modeled after me) BUT if there is a problem it will be handled my everyone in this forum(yes even Rob) because we want everyone to feel what we feel when we are vaping on a REO.

Modeled after you huh? HA! Honestly though I was shocked how much i missed my Reo for a half day only! Won't happen again though - another one's on the way to my mailbox.

I had approached Robert about methods of darkening up a gold door - y'see, I'm a Saints man and the wife is a Steelers gal, and I wanted my black Grand to not only indicate my team alliance, but to also not possibly be mistaken for hers. Steelers are black and gold, Saints are black and old gold, which is a darker, more bronze-y gold color.

Robert said he had something that had been sitting on the shelf in the shop, a gold door that didn't come out well - the finish on it wasn't as bright and glossy as the others, and he sold it and a standard gold door to me for a smokin' deal. Let me tell you, that door that he considered flawed is *perfect* for my needs. One man's trash is another man's treasure!

Yet another example of why he has such die hard customers, and multiple repeat customers!

I'll chime in.

My problem: No Woodvil in my possession.

How Rob helped: He built for me a perfect Woodvil when my wife inquired about ordering one as an anniversary present.

How is this heroic? Rob had other projects in the works and wasn't accepting special orders at that time, but he made an exception. Why? Because his customers are more important to him than his own convenience. It turned out that he could fit it in to his schedule.

Disclaimer: You can open a dialogue with Rob if you wish to place a special order, but please be understanding if he has to put it off till a later date. His mods are in high demand and he's doing his best to meet that demand, but he needs food and sleep like the rest of us. My Woodvil wasn't ready in time for our anniversary date (he didn't say it would be), and that was perfectly acceptable.

Conclusion: Rob and this community has made life better. I wish him & Reonauts everywhere all the success they can handle.

I love this thread And I love that Rob visits the forum frequently in spite of all the wood chucking, wood buying, metal anodizing, product development and order fulfillment on his plate. IMHO, it is above and beyond customer service. So I have to agree with you, Mr. O has some extra special mojo

One of my recent tales of woe was missing out on the Mini Woodvil sale -- but a PM to the Modfather and the next thing you know, I have a very special one of kind REO! It took several more weeks but as we all know, REOS are worth it! As if I needed another reason to love REO!

The only other tale was when, like you, I thought my REO mini wasn't working (I thought it wasn't firing) and by the graciousness and generous spirit of the REO villagers, as well as posts from Modpapa himself, I learned how to handle my firing button

I love my reos... there just isn't another mod that even begins to compare to the quality & reliability as my reos.
Lemme think of just one story to tell.......
